I moved to Holland in 2010, lost three bicycles (one actually got thrown into the canal by some drunk dutch students – I love the dutchies) and I got one well deserved BBA degree in Media and Entertainment Management. The most important thing I gained,
however, is the passion for pushing myself out of my usual comfort zone into the scary place aka where the magic happens.
If it wouldn’t have been for Holland and my studies, I never would have met the beautiful souls that helped me to grow. Who helped me to question answers, to not accept things the way they are. To stay aware and awake. Because of all this and more I wouldn’t have find my passion for traveling (at this point – a big thanks to all those peeps who inspired me).
Anyway. Enough of that deep shit. I also want to share another must do with you. Should you ever come to Leeuwarden, you must go to Beans and Bagels. There is no way around it. There you will get the most delicious bagels on earth. Plus, a well deserved healthy shake called Green Energy. This one works wonders against a hangover 😉 Check out the homepage here.
